1. Services
I provide website design, Squarespace setup, branding, graphic design, automation, email marketing, and SEO consulting services. All projects are customized based on each client’s needs and outlined in a written proposal before work begins.
2. Payment Terms
A non-refundable 30% deposit is required to secure your project start date.
A further 30% payment is due at the project’s midpoint, and the remaining balance is due before the final website or design files are delivered or launched.
Payments are accepted by electronic transfer or another method as agreed upon in writing.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
The initial deposit confirms your commitment and holds your spot in my schedule. Because I reserve time specifically for each client, the deposit is non-refundable.
If a client cancels partway through a project:
Any completed work to date will be invoiced and must be paid in full.
If more than 50% of the project has been completed, the full project fee may still be due.
In the rare case that I must cancel a project, all payments for unfinished work will be refunded.
4. Intellectual Property
All design concepts and materials remain my property until final payment is received. Once the full project fee is paid, ownership of all final approved designs, website content, and deliverables transfers to you, the client.
Any design drafts or unused concepts remain my property and may not be reused or modified without permission.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate content, feedback, and approvals on time. Delays in providing content or feedback may result in rescheduling or additional fees.
6. Liability
While every effort is made to ensure your website and digital tools function correctly, I cannot be held responsible for:
Losses, damages, or downtime resulting from third-party platforms (such as Squarespace, Mailchimp, or Google);
Errors, bugs, or security issues that arise after handoff;
Indirect or consequential losses of any kind.
My total liability for any claim related to services provided will not exceed the total amount paid for that project.
7. Revisions and Support
Your project includes a specific number of revision rounds as outlined in your proposal. Additional revisions or post-launch updates can be arranged at my current hourly or project rate.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
